So, I haven't really written anything here for a while, and therefore here comes a small update.
I noticed today that the open source project gnash has released a new version, version 0.8.3. For you who doesn't know what I'm talking about, it's a flash player that can run on 64-bit operation systems. I haven't tried it much yet, but the fact that I can now watch youtube videos makes me really happy. Gnash is moving forward.
This post will walk you through configuring an OpenSync synchronization group for your Nokia 3110 Classic using bluetooth. I will assume that you already have bluetooth working, otherwise use your linux distribution documentation to set that up. Since my blog doesn't support code blocks, I won't be writing any long pieces of code in this post. I will instead try to describe what settings you should enter based on you following the official SyncML guide. Please note that while there are some releases (0.2*) that are considered production quality, I don't guarantee that it will work or that you don't lose any data. Remeber to make a backup of your precious calendar and contact list.
I did it! I actually purchased a new cellphone! It is replacing my old and increasingly broken Siemens M65.
I have finally graduated from Balderskolan, an upper secondary school where I had a technical education. This was two days ago, and after drinking some mind-numbing intoxicants (yes, originally by Moe Szyslak), I was a little slow-thinking yesterday.
I upgraded my SilverStripe installation today. There was some downtime while I was transferring the several thousand files to the server but all should be working now. If something doesn't work, please let me know.
MiMiCalc reached a milestone today. I have finally managed to implement adding userdefined functions in the shiny new GTK interface.
Yesterday I read about mostphotos. It's a site that is quite like istockphoto.com, but they claim to be for ordinary people and not only for professionals.
I have begun work on the new GTK interface that is mentioned in the TODO list.
I have created a project for MiMiCalc at launchpad.net.
